I designed and built a custom website and booking system for Game Over; a retro video game café in Portsmouth. Drawing inspiration from 8-bit aesthetics, I created a playful interface with arcade-style touches, including a built-in Space Invaders game for visitors.

About this project.
This was one of my favourite websites to work on, because I got to geek out on some retro video game themes. Game Over itself is a video game cafe in Portsmouth that offers pretty much any game you can imagine.
The website essentially only needed to be a booking system, so I teamed up with a backend developer Chris, who built the system in Python. I designed the booking system with the styles of an old 8bit video game – and you can even play space invaders at the end! This site was launched in 2016.
