Designing and building AskMargo.ai

I’ve absolutely loved working on the AskMargo.ai project with the Nine+Nico team. It’s been one of those projects that sticks with you – thoughtful, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable from start to finish.

Over the past few months, I’ve been involved in designing and building the AskMargo.ai marketing website, alongside working on the Margo AI product itself. It’s always a privilege to be involved at both the product and marketing level, especially on something completely new.

So, what is Margo?

AskMargo.ai is an AI-powered marketing tool designed to help teams plan go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and reports with confidence – particularly useful for people who know what they want to achieve, but aren’t always sure where to start.

From the beginning, the focus was on clarity. AI products can easily become overwhelming or vague, so the aim for the marketing site was to visually explain what Margo does in a way that feels calm and helpful.

We kicked the project off in July 2025, starting with an in-person workshop with Nine+Nico (and a memorable introduction to the best sandwich shop in Southampton 0 shout-out to Maurie’s). Partway through the project, I took a short break for maternity leave over October, November and December. I’m hugely grateful to Charlie and Harri for being so patient and understanding while I was off, it made returning to the project in January very relaxed!

Because I was also involved in the UX and front-end build of the Margo app itself, the marketing site could be shaped with a solid understanding of how the product works behind the scenes. That connection between product and marketing made it much easier to keep everything aligned.

The marketing site has now launched, and I’m really proud of what we’ve built together. There’s more to come, including a full resources section (FAQ’s, Blog, Help section & Guides) and, of course, the Margo app itself.

I’m very excited to see AskMargo.ai continue to grow, and I’m incredibly grateful to Nine+Nico for such a brilliant collaboration.
