The launch of ContrastChecker.co.uk!
Last modified: 9th May 2024
I couldn’t be more pleased to share with you my latest project ContrastChecker.co.uk– one that was a collaboration between myself and the super talented developer Zoe Aubert.
It’s a project that has been in my head for a couple of years now, born from the fact that all the colour contrast checkers out there that I could find could only compare 2 colours.
I was always manually building guides in Figma showing the pass/fail of a websites colour scheme, and got frustrated that I couldn’t input more than 2 colours and play with the contrast until I found colours that worked together.
But now you can!
How is it made?
It was designed in Figma by me, and then Zoe built it with React, and styled with Tailwind.
What’s next for this project?
We’d like to look more into making it more mobile friendly. At the the moment it works best on desktop. We also have plans for some more export features, so watch this space!
